Simple attendance tracking for churches
Kids ministry, the youth group, a course — pick the gathering where knowing exactly who's there matters most. RollCall makes its check-in quick and its records automatic, without adding another admin job to someone's Sunday.

One ministry, done properly
RollCall deliberately isn't a whole-church management system. Each RollCall organisation runs one member list with one check-in — which is exactly what a kids ministry, a youth group or a course needs: a fast door, a live view of who's in, and a history that keeps itself.
On Pro you can split your members into groups, each with leaders who see just their own people — year groups in a youth ministry, rooms in a kids programme. And if a second ministry needs its own separate attendance, it runs as its own RollCall organisation.
What it does on the day
Check-in that keeps moving
People find their name and tap to confirm on any tablet or laptop at the door. No queue, no accounts, no app to install.
Visitors, without the awkward pause
Someone new adds their details themselves and is checked in straight away — so you get their information without holding up the line.
Leaders see only their group
A PIN login scoped to one group. Your youth leaders see youth; your small group leaders see their group.
Records you can look back on
Every session is kept — date, who was there, how many. You can see attendance over time, spot the people who've quietly dropped off, and export the whole lot to CSV for a report or a board meeting.

Already using Planning Center?
Keep it. RollCall can connect to Planning Center so the people you already maintain there flow into RollCall's check-in, instead of you keeping two rosters in step by hand. Your Planning Center check-in history can come across too, so your attendance record isn't split in half the day you start.
It's optional and per-group — plenty of churches use RollCall on its own.
Handling people's information carefully
Churches hold details about children and vulnerable people, so this matters more than it does for most software. Each church's data sits in its own isolated space that no other organisation can reach, encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in Sydney and operated from New Zealand under the Privacy Act 2020.
Member details and emergency contacts are visible to your own authorised leaders only. Nothing is sold, and there are no advertising trackers inside the RollCall app your group signs into. Read the full privacy policy.
Questions churches ask
Does RollCall integrate with Planning Center?
Yes. RollCall can connect with Planning Center, so churches already using it can bring their existing people information into RollCall's check-in and attendance system, and import their Planning Center check-in history. Attendance flows from Planning Center into RollCall — Planning Center's Check-Ins API is read-only, so RollCall never writes attendance back.
Can we run several groups or ministries?
Each RollCall organisation has one member list, one check-in link and one attendance record per person per day. On Pro you can split your members into groups — each with its own leaders, who sign in with a PIN and see just their people. That's built for teams of leaders within one ministry, not for running several ministries with separate attendance. If two ministries need genuinely separate records — say kids ministry and the youth group — run each as its own RollCall organisation.
Can we export our attendance data?
Yes. CSV export — and importing an existing list when you set up — is included on every plan.
Can people sign out when they leave?
Yes, if you switch on Member Sign-Out for your group — it's off by default and on every plan. People sign themselves out on the same check-in device, which records a departure time against their existing attendance rather than a second record, so leaders can see who's still on site. It's self-service, so treat it as a record of who said they were leaving, not as a supervised child-collection process.
